Cover the cloth by wax,
draw a picture with the special needle, and dye it.
Hirashima’s works are produced by batic technic.
He has to resist, color, fix, bleach wax, and keep color for each colors. It takes time.
His colorful world can not be expressed without accumulation of times.
His personal images are tenderly caught by fabrics and dyes,
then start running, and overlapping one another without his control, and make new looks.
You can not control everything, and so, he face to a piece of cloth with praying.
Time is an important function to dye his works with deep colors, and bring us in the rich and dreamy world of him.

The rain has stopped

and the rainbow appears.

I hear the sound of a rain drop

and the rainbow pops to my picuture.
